With Christmas arriving next week my thoughts have turned from the studio to baking cookies, gift giving, and time with family.
Whatever you celebrate, I hope you have an awesome holiday season and a happy new year!

Recent studio work
I've been binge watching a few shows lately (um, The White Lotus?! 😳) and drawing on my iPad while I watch.
I've been exploring different drawing tools, layering, erasing, layering some more, trying this and that while I watch TV. I see these compositions truly as sketches and not really as finished pieces as sometimes I come back to them and add more or even cover them up with more layers.
I'm looking forward to more no-pressure-relaxing-iPad-drawing time over the holiday.

My current Instagram crush is Peter Dowker.
Dowker is a collage artist based in Canada and Mexico. I love his carefully composed work using vintage paper ephemera.
